대림 시기Advent
전례력의 시작이며, 주님의 오심을 기다리고 준비하는 시기입니다. 깨어 있음과 회개의 마음으로 성탄을 맞이합니다. The beginning of the liturgical year — a season of vigilant waiting and preparation for the Lord's coming, both his birth at Christmas and his return in glory.
성탄 시기Christmas Season
말씀이 사람이 되어 우리 가운데 사신 신비를 기리는 시기입니다. 성탄 대축일부터 주님 세례 축일까지 이어집니다. Celebrates the mystery of the Word made flesh dwelling among us. Begins with Christmas and ends with the Baptism of the Lord.
사순 시기Lent
기도와 단식, 자선으로 회개하며 주님의 수난과 부활을 준비하는 시기입니다. 광야의 40일을 본받아 자신을 비우는 여정입니다. A season of prayer, fasting, and almsgiving preparing for the Paschal mystery. Forty days mirroring Christ's time in the wilderness.
부활 시기Easter Season
전례력에서 가장 큰 기쁨의 시기로, 그리스도의 부활을 50일간 기념합니다. 성령 강림 대축일로 절정을 이룹니다. The Church's greatest season of joy — fifty days celebrating Christ's resurrection, culminating in Pentecost.
연중 시기Ordinary Time
특별한 신비를 기념하지 않는 기간으로, 주님의 공생활과 가르침을 묵상하며 신앙을 일상으로 살아가는 시기입니다. The time outside the festal seasons, devoted to the mystery of Christ in all its aspects — his public ministry and teaching lived day by day.

주님 부활 대축일Easter Sunday
그리스도께서 죽음을 이기시고 부활하신 모든 축일의 으뜸가는 대축일입니다. 신앙의 핵심이며 전례력 전체의 중심입니다. The greatest of all feasts — Christ's victory over death and the center of the entire liturgical year and of Christian faith.

주님 승천 대축일Ascension of the Lord
부활하신 그리스도께서 하늘에 오르시어 성부 오른편에 앉으신 신비를 기념합니다. 우리 본향이 하늘에 있음을 일깨워 줍니다. Christ ascends to the Father and is seated at his right hand — reminding the Church that our true homeland is heaven.

성령께서 사도들에게 강림하시어 교회가 세상에 그 모습을 드러낸 날입니다. 부활 시기를 마치고 교회의 탄생을 기념합니다. The Holy Spirit descends on the apostles and the Church is revealed to the world — the close of Easter and the birthday of the Church.

마리아께서 잉태되신 첫 순간부터 원죄에 물들지 않으셨음을 기리는 대축일입니다. 1854년 비오 9세 교황이 신앙 교리로 선포하셨습니다. Celebrates Mary's preservation from original sin from the first moment of her conception — defined as dogma by Pope Pius IX in 1854.

지상 생애를 마치신 마리아께서 영혼과 육신이 함께 하늘에 들어 올림 받으신 신비를 기립니다. 한국 교회에서는 광복절과 함께 기억됩니다. Celebrates Mary's being taken up body and soul into heavenly glory at the end of her earthly life. In Korea, also coincides with Liberation Day.
